Almond marzipan is ideal for cake covering and for modelling shapes and characters, for cutting out shapes and other modelling. This marzipan mass can be coloured with all kinds of food colourings. It can be made lighter in colour by adding white. It can also be used for baking. You can grate it and flavour doughs with it. You can also make marzipan grated crumbs by mixing 70g of marzipan with 15g of butter and 50g of plain flour. It can also be used in fruit filled dumplings - replace the stone in an apricot or plum with a small marzipan ball. You can also make a marzipan filling for pralines - grate the marzipan into a pot, add a little cream and melt. Before covering a cake or modelling work the mass well. To cover a cake roll out the marzipan mass to a sheet of 0.3 - 0.5 thickness. While rolling it dust the marzipan sheet with icing sugar. When transferring the marzipan sheet onto the cake roll the sheet on a long pipe. To smoothen the cake cover use smoothers or polishers. To create interesting effects use various types of bone tools. To add glittering or colour effect on the cake surface you can use dust colours, for example with glitter effect, or edible ink pens and liquid or paste colours. Modelled characters can be joined with edible glue or a home-made mixture of egg whites and icing sugar.

If you want to use the marzipan to cover a round cake with a diameter of about 25 cm or a square cake 20 cm long, you will need to packets, i.e. 0.5 kg of marzipan mass. It is necessary to knead the mass well and then roll it out evenly with rolling pin on a thin layer of icing or caster sugar.
The marzipan taste is naturally almond with no additives enhancing taste or aroma. It is genuine marzipan without genetically modified ingredients or other supplements (powdered milk, soya, lecithin, etc.).
